Ebenezer Liturgical Dance Bio
….a time to dance. Ecclesiastes 3:4. For more than 25 years, the Ebenezer Liturgical Dance Ministry (ELDM) has served in humility and excellence, founded by Co-Pastor Jo Ann Browning. Today, the ministry stands strong with more than 100 youth, young adults and adults giving God praise through liturgical, African, pageantry and hip hop dance.
Just as Psalms 150 exemplifies the union of music and dance for praise, God’s favor and anointing has blessed ELDM to minister alongside many of the nation’s gospel greats including Ministers Byron Cage, Yolanda Adams, Ricky Dillard, Ernest Pugh, Beverly Crawford and more. Appearances at the renowned Stellar Awards, Bobby Jones Gospel and Kennedy Center have afforded ELDM opportunities to share the love, grace and favor of Christ through dance with the world. With dance as a universal language, ELDM has traveled to Bermuda, South Africa, Jamaica, and across the United States to fellowship and offer salvation through Jesus Christ. Each and every day is another opportunity to use dance as our weapon of praise and evidence of our testimony. ‘To whom much is given, much is required’. ELDM gives our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, all the praise, honor and glory for the great things He has done.
