"God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."

 

Spirit & Truth is the Adult component of the dance ministry. It is a readiness class for adults 35 years or older, that focuses on the development of ministering the Word of God with a specialized technique and/or in-depth understanding of ministry.  These individuals desire to grow in wisdom and with the understanding of sacrifice, commitment, and dedication to the ministry of dance.  These women seek the spirit of discernment, and the very purpose God has for them.  They are constantly reminded to worship the LORD in Spirit and Truth (John 4:24) by utilizing their gifts and talents in the ministry of dance.

 

The class members seek to go to a higher level of spiritual maturity in their lives by not only hearing the message from God. but also expressively moving to exemplify that written message.  These women understand their role in the kingdom is to be faithful and to serve others with what Christ has given to them (Romans 12: 4-8).

Class Objectives:

 

• To minister the Word of God effectively through movement based on an in depth study of the scriptures.

• To expand their dance vocabulary by studying and choreographing in a variety of ways.
